Our Story

For the past 12 years, I have embarked on a diverse career journey, spanning purchasing, construction, sales, customer service, and manufacturing. Alongside me is my wife, Melissa, who spent an impressive 28 years in the veterinary industry, starting as a kennel cleaner and eventually becoming a hospital manager. She now applies her expertise to the insurance industry as an underwriter for pet insurance. In addition to our business endeavors, we also share a deep passion for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, which led us to establish a non-profit dedicated to supporting our youth in this critical cause.

Our experience also extends to air duct cleaning and carpet cleaning through a former business venture. We bring these skills and a wealth of expertise to 911 Restoration of Independence.

Our Family

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are proud parents to three wonderful children. Charli Rae, our eldest, fought a brave battle with mental illness until September 2021. We honor her memory every day. Devin, at 14, is a softball enthusiast and a talented musician in the school band. Elliot, our youngest at 4, has an insatiable fascination with heavy equipment and trucks. Our home is also shared with 10 beloved pets, a mix of cats and dogs, some living indoors and others outdoors.

Our Journey to Independence

Seven years ago, we made the move from the Chicagoland area to Independence, Missouri. It’s a place we now proudly call home, and it’s where we’ve set down roots to establish 911 Restoration of Independence.
